Facebook is looking like a ferengi meeting zone these days. Everything is 'follow me' and 'buy from us'. There is little personal room anymore.

For this reason I will be closing my business page permanently. I don't advertise as I prefer word of mouth from happy clients. Therefore I will not subject my clients to the over-the-top advertising facebook is now doing.

And when my personal page gets too stupid with ads I will leave facebook.

Celebrating 3-1/2 years of age.

18 months old.....

Small things excite me. This pair, walking their dog. (not in picture) has a story. The man has sticks under his arm to toss for their dog, once they reach the river. This is amazing dog-fun.

But this morning they woke up together as they have done for the past 40 years. Maybe he woke up before she did and made coffee for them both. The dogs were happy and pumped to go play - as they usually do.

One day - as will all of us - one of them worn't wake up. To some this is sad. To others who look for the brightness in life, they will be able to appreciate the past 40 years together. In any case...I have their shadows of the past and would be happy to share (as is apparent) with them.

This is the power of photography! I record shadows of the past. I am the keep of yesterdays. I am the archivist.

She's so cute it hurts...

Here's a cutie that was in my studio a few weeks ago. There's a certain magic to being three years old. I've only scratched the surface.

Here, even dogs smile...

This fellow - a vet who had it rough has Canada's smallest approved emotional support dog.
