If your vet brings up that Grain-free pet food is linked to a heart condition called DCM you can ask them to do some updated reading on a Veterinarian PEER REVIEWED study that has concluded that they have found NO significant growth of DCM cases as grain free diets grew over 500% in an 18 year time frame. They also suggested in the study that current studies show that it is better to have DCM properly diagnosed by a Veterinarian Cardiologist, not a regular vet. And for this study they only accepted actual Cardiologist reports. And as always, you can always remind them that the company that makes Royal Canin and Science diet had multiple cases of DCM as well.

I have to say that this feels like a little bit of a throwing salt on my wounds kinda moment. Pet Valu has put up a "coming soon" sign on my own Plaza's property right next to my own stores closing sign. It was one thing that they put in a store in the plaza next to me, but this is just downright hurtful and insulting. Please feel free to share and pass post along and once again thank you for all your support over the years.
