Last year I spoke on the FRAMES magazine podcast about photographing dogs in wild places. This year, I finally wrote about it. 😅

I hardly get the chance to photograph my dogs other than with my cellphone. So this morning, when I saw how pretty it was out back after the freezing rain, I gathered my camera, Teddy and a bag of treats and went to rectify that. Thank you, Teddy, for delivering your most noble expressions.

Our 2025 charity calendar contest cover girl, Daffy, just did her photo session at her happy place: Cherry Beach!

A rescue dog who found her way to Toronto from the U.S., she's such an incredibly striking girl, with her piercing blue eyes and eyeliner look!

We were up before sunrise for this session, and it was so worth the early start!
