Millbrook Tactical Inc. it's great to see you getting after it!

READ 💬: In a quiet but significant leap for special operations lethality, the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) has begun fielding the Multi-Function Muzzle Device (MFMD), a futuristic hybrid system that marks the end of "the compromise era" in fi***rm ballistics. During a high-intensity validation exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center on March 2, 2026, Green Berets were observed operating sniper and assault platforms equipped with this distinctive, 3D-printed architecture, a technology designed to grant operators "technological overmatch" in the most contested urban environments.

Developed by Strategic Sciences LLC under a restricted contract for the Irregular Warfare Technology Support Directorate (IWTSD), the MFMD is not just an accessory; it is a fundamental redesign of how gas, heat, and sound behave as they exit a r***e barrel.

For decades, soldiers have been forced to choose their "poison": a suppressor to hide sound (adding length and heat), a muzzle brake to control recoil (increasing noise and flash), or a flash hider (offering no recoil or sound benefit). The MFMD treats these as a single physics problem. 🔻

📌 Unified Architecture: The MFMD is a modular, two-piece system. A base unit fits over the barrel, and a "flow-through" suppressor module latches in front. This design manages gas energy as a unified flow, delivering flash suppression and sound reduction while simultaneously mitigating up to 60% of recoil.

📌 Zero Length Penalty: Because the device "sleeves" back over the barrel, it provides the benefits of a full suppressor without significantly increasing the weapon's overall length, a critical advantage when clearing tight rooms or navigating urban rubble.

📌 Thermal Stealth: Unlike legacy suppressors that glow bright orange under night vision (NODs) after a few magazines, the MFMD’s unconventional internal geometries dissipate heat more efficiently, reducing the operator's infrared signature and preventing "beaconing" during night raids.

The MFMD’s capabilities are made possible by advanced additive manufacturing (3D printing). The device features internal pathways so complex they are physically impossible to create through traditional machining. 🔻

📌 Flow-Through Tech: By using a "flow-through" rather than a "baffle" system, the MFMD prevents gas from blowing back into the shooter's face (a common issue with older suppressors). This keeps the weapon's internal parts cleaner and reduces the toxic fumes inhaled by the operator.

📌 Durability: Strategic Sciences has validated the system across 13 calibers, from 5.56mm to the massive .50 BMG. The 3D-printed materials are rated for a service life comparable to the r***e barrel itself, even under the high-pressure loads of the Army's new 6.8mm NGSW am******on.

📌 Phase II Validation: In February 2026, the system completed its "Phase II Government Inspection," confirming it is ready for broader fielding across the U.S. and allied special operations communities.

The fielding of the MFMD is a direct response to the "transparency" of the modern battlefield, where cheap thermal sensors and night vision are ubiquitous. 🔻

📌 Target Persistence: By reducing recoil and muzzle climb by 60%, the MFMD allows a sniper to keep their eyes on the target through the optic during the shot. This enables instant follow-up shots or immediate assessment of a hit without "losing the picture."

📌 Signature Management: In a "peer-on-peer" fight, the first person to be seen is often the first to die. The MFMD's ability to eliminate 99% of first-round flash ensures that a Green Beret's position remains hidden even during high-tempo engagements.

📌 Modular Adaptability: Special Forces units can swap modules in seconds, transitioning from a compact "muzzle brake" configuration for vehicle operations to a "silent" configuration for stealthy infiltrations.

"Legacy devices forced us to compromise," noted a Green Beret involved in the Muscatatuck validation. "The MFMD is the first time we’ve had it all: silent, stable, and short. It changes how we move through a city."

This makes our team gleam with joy. So much heart and soul poured into this project - and everything we do.

Did you catch us featured on the latest episode of The Pitt? 📺

Last year, we got the chance to meet TV-star Noah Wyle and his team at the ACEP conference, where we demonstrated how our Dolphin Ring Cutter works. We are incredibly proud to see our device making an impact in emergency departments both on and off screen. What started as a solution to a common problem, is now the standard of care for ring entrapment across North America.

A special thank you to the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation and everyone who has supported us along the way — it truly is a team effort!

Will you be taking part in the today? ☀️

We're proud to announce the successful launch of the "Flying Cow" exosphere balloon project, in collaboration with Spectredge Wireless, the University of North Texas, and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

This pioneering initiative marks a milestone in exospheric exploration and RF data study, timed perfectly with today's solar eclipse.

Fuelled by the brilliant minds at UNT and the cutting-edge PulsarEdge technology from Spectredge Wireless, the "Flying Cow" is set to transform how we capture and analyze data from the edge of space.

This project not only showcases the power of collaboration across academia, industry, and government but also paves the way for future innovations and educational advancements. A huge thank you to Professor Kamesh Namuduri and all involved for making this possible.

Stay tuned as we prepare to gather unparalleled data during the eclipse, opening new doors for students and researchers alike. 💡

This time last year we were in Toronto pitching for Season 17 of Dragons' Den. This year, we're back in town exhibiting Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians - CAEP conference!

If you're attending the conference make sure to stop by Booth 106 to see our NEW solution, the Ring Rescue Kit. This Kit has EVERYTHING you need for stuck ring removal. It includes the Dolphin Ring Cutter that can cut any metal in minutes and the Compression Device for those rings you don't want to cut. It is the new Standard of Care for stuck ring removal and the ONLY comprehensive registered medical device solution for this problem.
