Alas, another winter without a heated garage!

I do so love working with new and old wood and up-cycling the destined for the trash items you’d find at the thrift store or on the curb. Unfortunately I can’t bring myself to lose a toe in Alberta winter for the sake of my favourite pass time.

For the interim I will mostly be focusing on a newer venture that is not only fun and coffee filled, but educational and warm! Harper and I will be scouring our favourite local spots (we have a whole mommy and me circuit that we do) for vintage and antique items for my new Etsy store.

I appreciate all of the support, likes and well wishes that I have received at K Rustic over the past few years and I continue to count on each and every one of you!

This is one of my favourite pieces lately!
The wood came all the way from the North West Territories to be eventually thrown away after serving its purpose on a trailer. I’m so glad I nabbed it up! It’s truly a piece that you can stage with each season. 🤎
