Rocking Star Ranch Equine

You still have a couple of weeks to sign up for the next Working Ranch Roping Level 1 Clinic on May 23-24 at Melody Ranch near High River. Lots of cattle time, and all levels are welcome!

I have to give a huge thanks to Melody Ranch, Courteney, Justin, and all of the amazing boarders, clients, and friends who threw a surprise retirement party for Skoal today as I moved him out to his new retirement home at the Rocking Star Ranch home ranch out by Longview.

We were surprised to find a crowd of people waiting at the barn for me after I came back from a trail ride this afternoon, and having everyone there to say goodbye to Skoal was a great experience. I can’t thank you all enough!

For those of you who have followed me, or attended any clinics or lessons, you’ll all know Skoal. He has helped teach hundreds of people how to ride, rope, and work cattle in the past 11 years of running Rocking Star Ranch Equine. He’s been with me every step of the way. I have owned him since he was three years old, and this year at 24 I made the decision to let him fully retire. He’s a very special horse, and he has most definitely earned his retirement!

Today is the last day of up a Westerner Park in Red Deer! Come on in out of the snow and have a great day! I’ve got an Equine Communication clinic at 11:30 and a Pony Club clinic at 2:15 today!

No more laying around! I’m all packed up and on my way to 2026 in Red Deer! I hope to see you all there at some of my clinics!

April 24-26 is going to be a ton of fun! Come on down to Horse Expo at Westerner Park in Red Deer to catch one of the Equine Communication Clinics that I will be putting on!
