This extraordinary land-mark book bridges connections between indigenous and non-indigenous cultures with pathos, courage and with incredible depth. Daniel's story is told with insight, vulnerability and with amazing trust and truth. Daniel himself bridges two cultures, having a Scottish mother and an indigenous father. From this place of unique understanding, he opens his heart and his stories through the medium of his art. I am moved and forever both informed and changed by this seminal work - I cried with the passion and truth, I smiled at his wonderful insightful observations. I believe it should be in every family's library - the teachings are invaluable. Strongly recommended.
