I decided to stop shopping for a month.

You know what happened?

Absolutely nothing… except I regretted not buying that top I really wanted. 😂

Turns out, it was a terrible idea. Not doing that again!

I am who I am. Everyone has a hobby, and let’s be honest shopping has to be in the Top 10 for a lot of women. There’s just something about walking into a cute little boutique, finding the perfect outfit, and instantly feeling like you’ve got your life together. Sometimes it boosts your mood for the day, the week, or even the whole month.

People talk about shopping being an addiction, but I prefer to call it retail therapy with excellent wardrobe benefits. 😉 Those endorphins just don’t hit the same when you’re staying away from the racks.

So if you’ve been thinking about that dress, that top, or those shoes… this is your sign.

Everyone talks about getting that summer body, but when you work retail, fitting in a traditional workout isn’t always easy!

The good news? Retail might just be its own fitness program. Between climbing stairs to grab shoe sizes, doing bicep curls with armloads of clothes, deadlifting new shipments, sprinting to the fitting rooms, and racking up thousands of steps helping customers, we’re definitely getting our movement in!

It may not look like a gym workout, but by the end of the day our feet, legs, arms, and backs can confirm we’ve put in the work. 😂

People think working in a clothing store is all about helping customers and unpacking pretty clothes. What they don’t see is the brainstorming sessions, the awkward first takes, the forgotten lines, the uncontrollable laughter, and the twenty attempts it takes to get a 10-second video just right!

Being the star of the show isn’t always easy. Coming up with fresh ideas, acting them out, and somehow turning complete chaos into entertaining content takes a lot more work than people realize. But we do it because we love connecting with all of you and hopefully giving you a little smile, a styling tip, or a laugh along the way.

So if you’ve ever watched one of our videos, know that there was probably a lot of giggling, a few bloopers, and at least one person saying, “Can we do that take again?”

When the store gets busy, it gets BUSY. 🤪

One minute you’re straightening a rack, and the next thing you know every dressing room is full, there’s a line at the till, someone is looking for the dress in the window, another customer is asking where the shoes are, and someone else needs the perfect birthday gift for Mom.

At that point, you don’t really think you just go, go, go! Answering questions, finding sizes, carrying armloads of clothing, running to the stockroom, and somehow keeping everything moving.

The rush is actually kind of fun. It keeps you on your toes, makes the day fly by, and brings an energy to the store that we love.

But then… it suddenly stops.

The dressing rooms are empty. The till line disappears. Everyone heads home happy.

And you’re left standing there thinking, “What just happened?” 😂

Retail is a wild ride sometimes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you to everyone who keeps us hopping we appreciate every single one of you! ❤️

Sure, we love helping you find the perfect outfit, styling the latest arrivals, and giving fashion advice. But we also believe that life is way too short not to laugh, be a little goofy, and have fun while you’re doing it.

The funny thing is, the posts where we let our personalities shine are often the ones that get the most comments and smiles. So thank you for embracing our silliness, laughing along with us, and proving that a little humour never goes out of style.

You know that feeling when your favourite boutique posts “new arrivals just dropped” and suddenly you’ve never moved faster in your life?

One minute you’re casually scrolling… the next minute you’re grabbing your keys, abandoning responsibilities, and heading out the door like you’re competing in a fashion Olympics. Because let’s be honest when the good stuff arrives, you don’t wait. You get in there, you find your size, and you claim it before someone else with excellent taste gets there first.

We’ve dropped so many new summer pieces in store, and they are definitely worth coming in for. Dresses, tops, easy outfits, fun prints, great basics, and those pieces that make you say, “Oh no… I need this.”

Mannequin: Who are you?

Me: “I’m Pam. Who are you?”

Mannequin: “I’m the owner of this house.”

At that point, I wasn’t sure if I was shopping, working, or being replaced! 🤣

Apparently great minds think alike… or the mannequin has excellent taste. Either way, if you come into the store and spot two of us dressed the same, don’t worry one of us is slightly more talkative. 😉
