New Construction? It has a warranty, so why do I need an inspection? If you get an inspection before you remove all subjects, defects in a home can be addressed before it's yours. The photos below are samples from a new home in Mission ready for it's final inspection.

Some sample from photos I took on my last inspection with my Flir thermal camera. The red hot areas indicate a lack of insulation behind the finished wall cavity. I recommend further investigation and repair. The Flir camera took both images at the same time.

I fired up this furnace to test it out and the smoke detector went off! The cause appeared to be children's toys on the walls of the heat exchanger, burning away 🔥
