WAYS TO IMPROVE EDUCATION SO EVERY CHILD CAN SUCCEED IN SCHOOL AND BEYOND

Seven simple ideas to simplify yet enhance the educational experience for every child to increase learning and development.

UIA's Love To Learn summer camp is BACK and will teach children ages 4-12 about Akhlaq (Good Character) through Quran & hadith, various du'as, and stories of the Prophet's Companions. They'll learn about the importance of having good character and how they can adopt good qualities into their lives. They'll also learn how they can connect lessons and gems from the Companions' stories to their lives and have strong values. We will have daily arts & crafts along with a field trip* as well, that is ideal for kids who want to stay active during the summer.

Our summer camp will run for 4 weeks, starting July 15th and ending August 15th. Classes will be taught by Sr. Humaira Qureshi.

- Days: Monday to Thursdays
- Time: 10 AM to 2 PM
- Duration: July 15th to August 15th (4 weeks)
- Cost: $150 for 4 weeks
- Age Groups: 4-12

We are taking submissions for The My Voice Show!!
‪Instructions‬:
1. Get a friend, sibling or parent to film you. Please do not set the camera in front of you and film yourself. ‬
2. Try filming with an iPhone. If you don’t have access to one, make sure the footage is clear and good quality.‬
3. Film horizontally (in landscape), not vertically (in portrait). Stand in front of a wall or stairwell, and look into the camera lens. Also, the cameraperson should capture just your head and shoulders. ‬
4. Follow the script:‬
‪“To my teachers, thank you for ____________________. And, one habit that helps me cultivate positivity is _______________.” ‬
‪Please keep each response to one line (two lines for the whole blurb). Please do not mention your teachers’ names, in order to respect their privacy.‬
5. Please send your video to [email protected] by 12PM (noon) on Thursday, February 14.‬
