Amazing news ๐๐๐
During the October NAC 2022, Vangoโs young fencers has showed their excellent performance and skills! Huge congratulations to Julia Yin, for achieving 1st place ๐ฅ at the Y14 WE, as well as Ruien Xiao (Angel), who earned the champion ๐ฅ of the Cadet WE event.
Throughout the whole competition, Vango has gained two gold medals, and this marks a STUNNING record.
Weโve always been super proud to see our young fencers, through multiple growth and experiences, being able to show their incredible potentials in tournaments, letโs keep it up, brave Vango fencers! ๐ช๐ช๐ช

Huge congratulations to our Vango fencers Grace Hu, Ruien Xiao, and Julia Yin! During the 2022 US nationals July Challenge at Minneapolis, these girls achieved excellent results that reflects their dedication and passion for fencing:
Grace Hu - 3rd in Junior Womenโs Epee
Ruien Xiao - 2nd in Junior Womenโs Epee & 5th in Cadet Womenโs Epee
Julia Yin - 8th in Cadet Womenโs Epee

# US July Challenge 2022
Our Canada Nationals has just come to an end, and Vango Toronto has gained many successful achievements during a variety of events! There are in total 19 medals earned from 17 different Vango fencers. Huge congratulations! In the future,Vango Toronto will always carry our sportsmanship forward together with courage, improvements, and gratitudes for those that witnessed our growth and gives us support! ๐๐

Time flies, summer is almost right in front of us! In just a few months, Vango Toronto will be having amazing summer break camps! This year, we are extremely thrilled to invite Sergei Golubitsky, who will be conducting a master camp between August 19th to August 21th at Vango.
Sergei is a member of the FIE Hall of Fame and is regarded as one of the best foil fencers of the 20th century. He was the men's individual foil champion at the World Fencing Championships in 1997, 1998 and 1999. He was also ranked No. 1 in the world and won an Olympic silver medal.
Did you know that the fencing sports equipment brand - Leon Paul, launched a foil grip called Golubitsky-Proยฎ Ultra Grip named after him based on his fencing habits?
Mr. Golubitsky now devotes himself to fencing education and has trained many fencing athletes to become masters and champions. He is truly a fencing legend!

April NAC has come to an end, Vango would like to give huge congratulations to our epee fencer Julian Yin, for achieving 5th in Cadet Womenโs Epee, as well as Ruien Xiao, who achieved 2nd ๐ฅ in Junior Womenโs Epee, which brought her ranking A.

Huge congratulations to our Vango foil fencer, Aprille Song for achieving 1st ๐ฅin Junior Womenโs Foil, as well as 2nd๐ฅ in Cadet at the Duel of the East Coast Spring RYC! Aprille has also gained her A ranking as she turned 13, she has made great progress and all the best wishes to her for staying passionate and courageous.๐ช

The World Youth Championship held in Dubai has come to an end, and our Vango fencers all showed their excellent abilities on this world stage!
Our Epee fencer - Grace Hu, after achieving 18th place in Cadet women's Epee, also won the fifth place in the junior women's Epee event!
Our Foil fencer - Nicholas Wu entered the top 32 of the World Foil Junior Team!

Our Vango fencers, through daily training and participating on bigger platforms, always gains improvments and experiences that are worth remembering, we often set goals to accomplish because we have confidence within ourselves, to believe that dreams can come true as long as we look forward and never stop trying.

From May 24th to May 29th, 2022, Vango Toronto will be honored to invite the fencing legend, Ms. Luan Jujie, to visit and conduct workshops.
Ms. Luan Jujie has the reputation of "the first sword in the east". Her halo is not only a world and an Olympic champion, but her legendary life has inspired a generation of athletes.
This time, she will be mentoring the epee & foil group courses of all levels, and will give a comprehensive fencing lecture to athlets and parents at Vango.
