I have a few 0-6m and 6-12m hats that I'll be adding sometime today before the release, if you're looking for that size.

Thank you all for the support and encouragement as I get my hats out to the world again. I honestly didn't expect any interest after being so absent the last couple of seasons. It really does mean so much to me!!

Also, if you're a local friend and you've missed my life updates, local pickup is now in Chilliwack, BC! Although I do still go to Maple Ridge frequently and don't mind dropping off - just let me know 🥰

Hey friends!

FIRSTLY, thank you all for the sweet messages the last few days. It's nice to know so many of you are excited to get some new knits this year. Receiving messages from some of my original supporters (we are talking like 8 years ago) has literally made my week and is just so special.

Four years ago, my hubby and I started a new business specifically for makers called Warehouse 2020. That first year, I juggled both Wild Child and our new biz. It was a lot to manage everything, and I was honestly just feeling so burnt out. I needed a break from knitting hats every spare second of my life 🫠, and so Wild Child Designs has just slowly fizzled away, as sad as it is to say that.

Over the last 4 years, Warehouse 2020 has become our primary family income. It's such a blessing and we are so grateful to have such an amazing community of support, but its also a lot of pressure to have an online business as the sole source of provision for your family. Being a small business owner is hard, and the uncertainties of the world the last couple of years have certainly added to the stress.

All this to say, I haven't stopped knitting (just been doing more selfish projects and knitting for FUN), and I'm feeling ready to start knitting some hats again (although still probably on a much smaller scale than what I used to do)

I'm catching up on re-stocking the site and knitting up a few new kids' hats. I'm hoping to do a small website drop in about a week....stay tuned for more info ✨️

I know there isn't much in the way of baby items listed on the site right now (and no custom items either).

This is because I dont have a specific line of colours set up for this year, and so I cant guarantee things being as available as I have in the past. That being said, I have access to a pretty big variety of yarns so most likely can accommodate any specific requests - just message me and we can chat and create an order for you!!
