A welcoming team of Local, Nonpartisan Volunteers dedicated to Humanitarianism at Home and Abroad 🦁 Helping Others, Building Community and Spreading Smiles since 1944.
The kitchen was busy, the lineups were long, and the smiles along the way kept us going.
One of the things I love most about volunteering with the Maple Ridge Lions Club is knowing that every meal served helps give back to our community. Every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting local people, programs, and initiatives.
Our volunteers put their whole hearts into what they do because they know it matters. Just like a good harvest begins with many hands, a strong community is built by people willing to lend theirs. ❤️🦁
🤠 Country Fest is almost here!
Join us Friday through Sunday for a weekend of great music, food, and community. Be sure to stop by the Maple Ridge Lions Club kitchen—we’d love to see you!
We’re also proud to have our fellow Lions, Tyson and Dakota, taking the Country Fest stage on Friday at 5:00 p.m. as they share their heartfelt performance, Restoring the Faith.

💙🦁 When the need grows, so does our commitment to serve.
The Maple Ridge Lions Club was proud to present a $5,000 donation to Friends In Need Food Bank.
Over the past several years, the demand on food banks has increased dramatically. More families, seniors, and individuals are turning to organizations like Friends In Need for support, making community partnerships more important than ever.
One of the biggest ways our club is able to give back is through our weekly Meat Draws at The Reach Pub. Every Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, community members come together for a little fun, a chance to win, and most importantly, an opportunity to support local causes. The proceeds from these events help us reinvest directly into our community through donations, programs, and support for organizations like Friends In Need Food Bank.
This $5,000 donation is more than a cheque. It represents every ticket purchased, every volunteer hour given, every community member who stopped by to support a Meat Draw, and every person who believes in helping their neighbours when they need it most.
Thank you to Friends In Need Food Bank for the incredible work you do each day, and thank you to everyone who supports the Maple Ridge Lions Club throughout the year.
Together, we are proving that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.
