Just pull out that tab in your door strike to tighten it up.
Using a new striker jig from today. Instead of my templaco jig that puts 2 nail holes into finished doors, this just fits on snug. Using my festool 1010 as always for dustless routering in a finished house.
Scribing in a mantle to this shiplap wall. Using the Festool Carvex jigsaw. Another good way is to cut it with a track saw and sand up to the line. I really wanted to see how the bases for the saw worked. This one is super handy. Set the degree and you can work with it cutting either direction.
Sawstop compact with the festool cyclone. Such a great combo. I’ve emptied the cyclone 6 times and have absolutely no dust in the vacuum. This is working incredibly well with MDF dust. Running a Festool CT 48 with the CT cyclone
Entry double hidden door in a slat wall
Hate cutting out doors. I tried making this doors as tight as possible to the right so it would work with the elevator door. This was peppered with 15 gauge nails and GRK trim screws. Elevator guys said it wasn’t enough. Had to rip out and sledge hammer the studs over to make them happy. Using the RSC 18 reciprocating saw. You wouldn’t believe how heavy this saw is, but once you feel the power, you’ll understand.
Where can I hang up my coat? Nice little way of hiding this entryway closet.
Fixing those dreaded laminate gaps
Elevator handle install. Showing the proper way to install Emtek hardware with my Festool CXS18. One of the most important parts of hardware install is using a self centering bit and using your speeds on your drill. Too often I see some jacked up latches with crooked and stripped screws. Use the features on your drill.
Heavy duty drawer slides ✅
Front row seats for the big game. No they were not there for more than 1 minute. A little too close to the tv 😂
