A community-based initiative of the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie, Seniors Network

The garden brings together children, teens and senior participants to grow vegetables, flowers and herbs together as “garden friends.”
The project is funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program and additional generous contributors including TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Whole Kids Foundation, Plant a Seed and See What Grows Foundation, Maple Ridge Community Foundation, First West Financial and a number of local service groups.

Our Story

The Intergenerational Garden brings together children, teens and senior participants to grow vegetables, flowers and herbs together as “garden friends.”
The project is funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and Vancity with special project funding from the Ministry of Community, Sport and Culture, Whole Kids Foundation, Golden Ears Kiwanis Club and Food Banks Canada.
