Ridge Church is a warm and welcoming church that has gathered together for over 100 years! Planning your first visit to Ridge Church?
Our gathering centres on two primary activities – Worship & the Word. We currently gather ONLINE at 10:00AM at ridgechurch.ca/live or IN-PERSON at 10:30AM. For more information on current children's programs / youth programs / community groups / prayer or events -- you can visit our website.
This Sunday marked the end of our True Riches series, and we closed by praying together with a liturgical prayer to help draw each of our hearts toward a posture of love that overflows into practical generosity.
Young or old. Wealthy or poor. From abundance or from need. We are all invited to join in with the overwhelmingly gracious love of God to pour out our whole lives (even our finances) to Jesus.
This prayer, originally from Church of the City NY, helps us to frame our minds and eyes towards the way of Jesus and a life of generosity.
A practical way to give right here and now is the BACKPACK BLESSING- as we seek to fill and offer 800 packs filled with school supplies to students across our region. $20 fills one backpack, and together we are joining in the work of redemption for kids in our city to walk into their school year with what they need to learn and grow.

Joining our team full time after already being a part of the Ridge Community, we are so excited to welcome Zach and for how his gifts of service, administration and wisdom will continue to help our church grow in health and not just numbers.
As we continue to navigate the challenges that come with those God is bringing to Ridge, we are expectant for God to work in Zach’s ministry role to help us build and manage teams, create smooth pathways into deeper community, and continue to enable our city to encounter Jesus in both word and deed.
Join us in praying for Zach as he gets settled, that God would work in and through him, and around Ridge Church!
The paradox of generosity, researched at Notre Dame University and collecting data from more than 2000 adults, suggests that Jesus wasn’t kidding about money - it really is better to give than to receive.
Our generosity shapes and reshapes us towards seeing with healthy eyes, and the way of Christ leads us towards a transformed mind that understands money not as a scarcity to be hoarded, but a gift to be shared.

We regularly share stories of what God is doing in the life of our church, and last month for Mission’s Sunday, we had the chance to share a story that spanned decades and nations.
The Quezada’s have served as missionaries for years across international borders, and we honoured their life of mission and sacrifice, and heard about how each one of us is invited to take on the simple invitation of Jesus to step into a life of service.

Whether in song, in prayer, in serving or in simple presence, we loved worshipping Jesus together this Sunday.
Even if we walked in with doubts, we found in Thomas’ story that even those places of struggle are invitations to a deeper and more rich faith in Jesus.

When it comes to global missions there are many ways to serve - some involve being a career missionary - but there are also many ways to serve both through short term missions opportunities as well as by using the gifts, skills and talents that you have developed over the years to serve from home.
Join us for a conversation with Norton Lages, the Director of FAIR, our Fellowship Global Missions team to hear about opportunities to serve in missions that don’t require you to become a long-term missionary or even go overseas.
