- CREA predicts a 9% year-over-year increase in sales and a 1.5% rise in prices.
- RBC Economics anticipates a 9.4% increase in home resales and a 1.9% price increase by Q4.
- Royal LePage forecasts a 5% year-over-year increase in house prices by Q4.
- RE/MAX expects a modest 0.5% year-over-year national average price increase.
- TD projects a 5.2% growth in home sales and a 0.5% increase in home prices.

On the interest rate front: ๐Ÿ“‰
- 2024 is expected to bring relief with potential rate cuts; bond markets are moving down, and the first Bank of Canada rate cut may happen by mid-year.
- Forecasts from major banks suggest a decline in the overnight target rate to at least 4.00% by the end of 2024 from the current rate of 5.00%.
- Fixed rates are predicted to range between 4.00% to 3.50% by year-end.
