Boukahs Flowers

It's tea season! I am harvesting lots of natuve plants and herbs to dry and store for future cups of warmth. Seen here is yarrow which is a favourite of mine right now. Both the flowers and the leaves are edible and are said to help with pain, inflammation, and to fight infection which is so important this time of year.

This is by far the nicest BC autumn I've seen since moving here in 2017 🍂 so vibrant, temperate, and slow.

Lots of creating today, and it feels good! This is a custom bouquet for someone special.

It's the first time I've been to the farm to pick this season... It's been a rough one so far with my full time job taking up a lot of extra time. I've been thinking a lot lately on how I can manage both and still have some personal/family time. I'll have to continue to brainstorm on that one. On a good note, I really missed picking at golden hour. I love listening to the birds, crickets, and frogs. I love seeing all the little critters who found their bed nestled in the petals of the flowers. I love seeing the sun start to fade below the horizon. Gotta remember to stop and admire the little things that make you smile ❤️
