Following Christ isn’t meant to be something we keep hidden or reserved for Sundays. Our faith should shape the way we speak, work, serve, love, forgive, and respond to the people around us.

If Jesus has truly changed your life, that change should be visible. Not because we seek attention for ourselves, but because we want others to see Christ in us.

Our faith should be more than something we profess—it should be something we live. Let your faith be seen. Let your life point to Jesus. Let Christ receive the glory.

Jesus calls us to live in such a way that His light cannot be hidden. Our words, actions, and everyday choices should point others beyond ourselves—to the Father in heaven.

Don’t hide your light. Shine brightly for Christ, wherever He has placed you.

Let Your Light Shine ✨

What happens when pastors and evangelists work together instead of apart? In this episode, Cory McKenna and Pastor Dan Anderson discuss the relationship between the local church and evangelism, exploring how Christians can grow in gospel witness without sacrificing discipleship or church unity. They examine common misconceptions, practical challenges, and a biblical vision for equipping believers to faithfully proclaim the good news together. If you've ever wondered how churches can cultivate a stronger culture of evangelism while building up the body of Christ, this conversation is for you.

Check out this recent episode of The Gospel Unity Podcast, we take a look at evangelism from a pastor’s perspective—and why equipping the Church to share the gospel matters.

Jesus reminds us that our motives matter. Those who seek their own recognition point people to themselves. But those who seek God's glory point people to Christ.

As followers of Jesus, our goal isn't to build our own platform, reputation, or influence—it's to faithfully reflect the One who sent us. When we live for God's glory rather than our own, our words reflect truth, our motives are made pure, and our lives point others to Jesus.

Prayer isn't about convincing God to act—it's about aligning our hearts with His will and depending on His power. Through prayer, God strengthens His people, accomplishes His purposes, and reminds us that the greatest battles are won on our knees.

Whatever you're facing today, don't underestimate what God can do through a praying heart. Pray boldly. Trust deeply. Watch Him work.

"The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." — James 5:16

"Prayer Minute with Nettie"

Before Jesus sent His disciples, He called them to pray. Join us as we pray to the Lord of the harvest to raise up faithful workers, strengthen His Church, and open hearts to the gospel.

"Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest." Matthew 9:38

Following Jesus isn't losing your life—it's finding it. When you surrender your life to Christ, you gain what this world can never offer: true purpose, lasting hope, and eternal life.

Join us as we pray for another member of The Cross Current team—Dan Anderson and his family.

Please pray for Dan and Carolyn as they continue to walk out God's calling and direction in their lives. That God would equip, guide, and encourage them in their work for the Kingdom; that God would multiply the proclamation of the Good News in and through them.

Dan and Carolyn would appreciate prayers for their family. They have three grown children who are married and they have two new grandchildren on the way soon!

Also, prayer for Pinery Church where Dan is pastoring would be appreciated as well.
