Our annual Professional Development Day brought together team members from all Angels Childcare locations for an inspiring day focused on one powerful theme: engagement.

Hosted at the beautiful West Haven Golf & Country Club, the day was centered around how meaningful engagement shapes the experiences we create for children, families, and each other.

We were grateful to learn from incredible guest speakers who helped bring this theme to life:

Our Centre Supervisors also led thoughtful and interactive story bag and circle time workshops, sharing hands-on strategies to deepen engagement in our classrooms every day.

From start to finish, the day was filled with energy, collaboration, and practical learning, all rooted in the idea that strong engagement is where everything begins.

We’re proud to continue making this annual event a priority for our team and the children and families we serve. 💛

🚗🚨 Rescue Mission in the Toddler Room! 🚨🚗

The toddlers in our Komoka room have been showing a growing interest in vehicles, so we followed their curiosity and created a “Car Rescue” tuff tray adventure! Cars were taped down and ready for the children to investigate, pull, peel, and rescue.
Through this hands-on, play-based experience, the children were strengthening their fine motor skills, practicing problem-solving, and developing hand-eye coordination as they worked to free the cars. Activities like this encourage persistence, curiosity, and creativity while building important developmental skills through play.

In recognition of International Women’s Day, Angels Childcare Leadership had the opportunity to attend an incredible event on Friday hosted by Community Futures Middlesex at Firerock Golf Club in Komoka.

It was inspiring to spend the day surrounded by such strong and passionate women, listening to wonderful speakers and sharing in the energy of a room full of women supporting and uplifting one another. Opportunities like this are a great reminder of the power of connection, encouragement, and women empowering women.

The Komoka Toddler Room welcomed the Lunar New Year with curiosity, creativity, and celebration!

Our toddlers explored colours and creativity as they decorated their own lanterns and experienced this special celebration through hands-on play!
