Lethbridge Polytechnic International

Members of the Sikh community at Lethbridge Polytechnic have organized, for the fourth consecutive year, International Turban Day activities on campus.

This year’s event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday in Centre Core.

Activities include turban tying, a selfie station, games and langar (free food). Attendees can also enjoy a display of traditional musical instruments and a performance by Dhadis, who will play folk instruments and sing traditional ballads. Student organizers, who are members of the Sikh Students of Lethbridge Alberta Club, will also share information on the turban’s cultural significance and answer questions about it.

FREE TAX CLINIC

Current Lethbridge Polytechnic students are eligible to have their taxes completed for FREE on campus.

Tax forms are available at LPSA office (CE 1350). Only the first 250 students that return the forms will be accepted. When you drop off the forms, please include a USB to have your files returned to you.
