Join us July 25th at Langley Rugby Club for a day of touch rugby, community, and remembrance.

Presented by the Seamus Gee Legacy Project and hosted by Langley Rugby Club, this tournament invites teams to play in honour of a past member of the rugby community, a high school alumni group, your club, organization, or simply for fun.

🏆 7-a-side | Max roster: 12 players

Elite Division
• $300 entry
• No composition rules
• 1st: $600 | 2nd: $300

Social Division
• $200 entry
• Must have 2 female players on the field at all times
• 4 players who are over 40, a junior, or female = a bonus player
• 1st: $400 | 2nd: $200

❤️ Proceeds support The Foundry Langley, Heads Up Guys, the Seamus Gee Legacy Project, and the Walter Foss Youth Endowment.

🚫 No outside alcohol permitted.

🏉 Meet our 2026/27 Senior Men’s Coaching Staff!💚💛

We’re proud to introduce the coaching team that will lead our Senior Men’s program this season. With decades of combined experience, a passion for player development, and a deep connection to Langley Rugby Club, this group is ready to build a culture of excellence both on and off the field.

Rob Hayes – Head Coach
A Langley Rugby Club member for over 25 years, Rob brings an outstanding resume as a three-time BC Provincial Champion, former BC Bears coach, Athletic Director at R.E. Mountain Secondary, and a graduate of UBC’s Master’s in High Performance Coaching and Technical Leadership. His vision is to build a program founded on accountability, humility, toughness, and respect.

Ruhan Smit – Assistant Coach
With over five years of coaching experience and an impressive playing career, Ruhan brings energy, discipline, and tactical expertise to the program. His coaching philosophy focuses on strong fundamentals, game intelligence, teamwork, and developing resilient athletes who compete with confidence and integrity.

Gary Ewasiuk – Assistant Coach
Gary brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Senior Men’s program. His attention to detail, ability to organize an effective backline, and commitment to Langley Rugby Club make him an invaluable member of the coaching team.

Wayne “Striver” Bremner – Assistant Coach
A true Langley Rugby Club legend, Striver has dedicated decades to the club as a player, coach, mentor, and volunteer. His passion for the green and gold, along with his commitment to developing generations of players, continues to inspire everyone who wears the jersey.
