This week, students from our “Spiritual Care for the Elderly” and “Spiritual Care and MAiD” courses gathered for a Learning Lab to share practical learning grounded in theology.

What a gift it is to learn from one another as we prepare to serve with wisdom, compassion, and care!

What does it look like for the church to speak faithfully in today’s world?

Mark Wessner reflects on the importance of reclaiming the church’s voice, not through louder opinions or greater influence, but through humility, truth, wisdom, and faithful presence in our communities.

As culture continues to shift, the church is invited to consider how we can communicate the hope of the gospel with both conviction and grace.

The Hayes Symposium 2026 was a special couple of days of learning, conversation, and connection together!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to gather around the topic of Faithful Presence: Pastoral Ministry in the Context of MAiD and learn from Gloria Woodland as she shared with wisdom, compassion, and practical insight on accompaniment and pastoral care in complex moments.

Plant the seed. Grow the forest. 🌱

What a meaningful weekend spent connecting with pastors and leaders from across Alberta, hearing the needs of local churches, encouraging one another, and sharing what’s happening through the MB Seminary.

We’re grateful for the conversations, partnerships, and shared heart for equipping the church together!

What a meaningful weekend in Kelowna at the BCMB Conference hosted by Willow Park Church!

We’re grateful for the time spent connecting, learning, and worshipping together, and for MB President Mark Wessner’s thoughtful message on humility that challenged and encouraged us all.

It was wonderful to celebrate this year’s graduates through our ACTS partnership in Langley, BC! This last ACTS graduation ceremony was full of gratitude, stories, and reflections, which made a very meaningful day.

Ontario pastors and spouses, you’re invited to step away for a few days of rest, encouragement, and renewal!

The Pastor & Spouse Retreat is a space to slow down, reconnect, and be refreshed in your calling.

We’re also looking forward to hearing from Mark Wessner, who will be serving as the keynote speaker!
