If you are wondering how long it takes to get Building permits from Surrey...I applied for renovation/addition permit in early fall (for a site in South Surrey) and was expecting a 6 to 8 month wait ...happy to say - we got the permits in 3 months. Pretty good!

Look what we found yesterday!
We happened to pull out the old washing machine and were shocked to see how close to bursting this washing machine hose was.
Lucky we caught this in time!
Reminder to all...replace those old hoses with stainless steel.

Great to be up at Blind Bay, Shushwap lake.
Our team just finished clearing the lot and almost the foundations.
The build will have awesome views of the lake.
