RIP Big Rude Jake.
Jake was the performer at the very first house concert we had in 2010 on the farm near Bloomingdale. He performed again at our little venue in Hawksville. I was hoping to arrange a full band outdoor show when we get back to having concerts.
Jake was a consummate showman, storyteller and musician. He was also a kind, gentle and generous person. He will be greatly missed.

Alison Watt won Best Cupcake at the Totally Fabulous Vegan Bake-off (sold-out event in Toronto) with her Wild Fire cupcake created here for last year's Rookery Tom Wilson and Scarlett Jane concert.
The Scarlett Jane Wildfire Cupcake is Red Velvet cake infused with hot pepper oil, topped with a cinnamon buttercream dusted with cayenne and crowned with a chili pepper flame. The name was inspired from a Scarlett Jane song.
Congratulations Alison! Looking forward to more Rockstar Cupcakes :)
