I started this account writing short poems. Then I started to put collages together that complimented the words. I haven’t made a poem/collage duo in quite some time. Having prompts for Februllage made me realize how much I like to have an idea for a collage and when they are match with a poem, the piece seems to speak a little louder.

Sunday morning scribbles.

A little setback happened this week and it got me thinking. We have a lot of sayings for when things don’t go our way, many ways to say, “something better is coming”. And I am usually a person who finds the positive to every negative situation. But today, on a silent Sunday morning, I felt like sitting in a different space, letting my thoughts bend towards pessimism, just for a moment.

And these words are what came from that contemplation. ✨
