Ingredients...
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
Zest of 2 lemons
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp poppyseeds

Here at Relish Cooking Studio we aim to support local brands and companies we can trust, as a small business ourself we have our own belief in high quality products and food for our customers.
Homegrown Roots is a family-run farm based in Ariss, Ontario. As first-generation farmers, the Scharringa family is dedicated to providing families with clean, high-quality food they can trust by raising grass-fed and finished beef alongside pasture-raised chicken and turkey. Their mission is to reconnect people with where their food comes from, while stewarding the land through regenerative farming practices.
In this class we will be showing you how to use a whole chicken in a few different dishes, what to do with those roasted chicken left overs, and the importance of quality, local meats.
