We ground ourselves in gratitude for our ancestors and relatives, and in proud celebration of our Two-Spirit and 2SLGBTQI+ kin, whose resilience and voices enrich our communities every day.

To our fellow community members: let’s use this month to uplift, protect, and celebrate one another. When we hold space for each other’s diverse identities and stories, our communities grow stronger. 🌱✨

Honouring history also means facing current realities, as injustices against Indigenous and 2SLGBTQI+ peoples continue. For our allies, let this month be a catalyst for real change: listen deeply, reflect honestly, and actively support Indigenous-led spaces and events.

Just a reminder our Virtual Grief circle is tonight! Please RSVP on our website for the link.

This month’s Grief and Loss Circle with Elder Mary Anne will be held virtually on May 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. She is unable to attend in person, so we will gather online for this month only, instead of our usual in-person circles in Kitchener and Cambridge at Langs Community Health Centre.

This circle is open to all Nations, and we welcome both returning relatives and new participants to join us. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to gathering together.
