Was able to visit Alyssa Saturday in Hamilton to spend a little quality time celebrating her 18th birthday. So proud of her. The strong, smart & beautiful young lady she has become. Cannot wait to have her home for the holidays once her exam writing is done this week. All of my girls are now “young adults.” 🫣 where has the time gone.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃. It has been a roller coaster of a year for me. Recovering from cancer/chemo, gaining my strength back, vacationing, visiting with friends, cottage time & then cancer came back & now back in the throes of chemo. I am thankful to all my caregivers, family, friends & clients that have supported me in so many ways. I have been blessed with a beautiful life filled with so much love. I am thankful for everyday I have. ♥️♥️♥️ S

Ok, so I have not posted much this summer. I will still go back & post some updates but I was beside myself on our latest addition & couldn’t hold back letting you all see her. After lengthy discussions and investigating we collectively decided as a family to adopt a puppy. With Chloe gone 2 years and my situation we needed some joy in our lives. Please meet Teddy, a mini Aussie Shephard from a local breeder. She was born August 5th and she just joined us this past Saturday. We found her thru a wonderful breeder and decided on her before even meeting her. The breeder provided pictures, videos, temperament testing and lots more. We just knew she would be a perfect fit for us. If you want to get regular updates on her you are welcome to follow her on her own account . We could not be happier since she has come home with us. A very loving puppy with confidence, curiosity and eyes that stare straight into your soul and love you instantly.

It was a busy spring for my youngest daughter. Attending two proms, of which her own prom she was heavily involved and as well her boyfriends at a different high school. In June she graduated from St Mary’s. A record number of over 500 students. She was accepted at all her applied universities and she chose McMaster. So very proud of this young lady. Her intelligence, dedication, empathy & sense of humour over the last 17 years has blossomed her into this beautiful young girl lady we are so very proud of. She is more than ready to spread her wings & take on her next journey. A mom could not be more proud. ♥️♥️♥️
