Welcome to Kamloops Tree Protectors! We are here to bring awareness to the trees in Kamloops and surrounding areas. Kamloops is fortunate to have good growing conditions suitable for many species. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of knowledge amongst some people on the importance of trees and how to look after them properly. All too often Kamloops trees are removed for petty reasons. We want people to share about the interesting trees they come across and maybe we can save a few from being removed. We've lost a lot to the pine beetle, and many more to other reasons. We need to save what we have left and plant more where we can.
