Hey everyone;
Welcome to our 12 Week Shred.
During this time we'll be working on not just working out, but also nutrition and some sports psychology. I will send out an email to everyone with a booklet that you can print off to keep track of your progress and some journal prompts. Yes, we will be doing some journaling.
Each 4 week block will focus on different things, block 1 will focus on Whole 30 diet plan, The Rules, and a workout plan. Most of it will be body weight workouts. If you have weights or kettlebells, feel free to use them.
Block 2 will still focus on The Rules and we'll get into nutrition basics.
Block 3 still following The Rules and looking into mobility and recovery. The more you recover, the more you can train, the more you can play sports.
Each person will weigh in every morning and text me your numbers. I'll keep track of your progress as well. As a group, I want to get together weekly for updates and go for a walk or hike.
So what are The Rules? They are:
- stay hydrated
- sleep for 8 hours
- eat tactically
- no carbs after 3 PM
- nothing to eat after 7 PM
I'll go over Whole 30 before we begin.
