The rules have changed for the 2026-2027 school year, please review the updated requirements. π

The home is more than 1.8 km from a safe road stop.

A student has identified special needs requiring door-to-door transportation.

There are serious safety concerns at the roadside stop, such as blind curves or hills that impede visibility for oncoming traffic.
Families who meet the conditions above can contact FVSD Essential Services to request a review.

ππ Change to School Bus Eligibility for 2026-2027 School Year
The minimum distance required for K-6 students to be eligible for bus service has changed from 1 KM to 1.6 KM. The minimum distance for 7-12 remains unchanged at 2 KM. Letters have been mailed to families that are affected by this change.

Our 3-Day Summer Workshops are underway, with a few spots still available in upcoming sessions! If your student is heading into Grade 10 or is a high school student looking to earn more credit, this is a great opportunity to build skills and confidence before fall.
Students can explore hands-on options like Photography, Graphic Design, Woodworking, and Recreation & Leadership (build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills).
