Official Point Standings are in following Race 1 of the 2026 Ontario Sportsman Series presented by Gulf Fuels Canada and InstantBond.

The McColl Racing Enterprises Gladiator 100 on May 15th delivered an exciting kickoff to the season, with Connor James and the Two Speed Motorsports team leaving opening night at the top of the standings with 105 points for James and for OSS rookie Jade Franklin sitting second with 99 points. Shawn Mcglynn rounds out the top three with 91 points.

Brendan Patrick and Sean Mangin complete the top five after solid opening runs, proving just how competitive this year’s field is shaping up to be. Points are awarded based on finishing position, laps led, most laps led, and qualifying pole awards - meaning every lap matters in the fight for the championship.

After just one race, the standings are already tight, and with plenty of racing left on the schedule, the battle for the 2026 Ontario Sportsman Series title is only getting started.

Our opening night did not exactly go as planned. Though we made the best of it. Kyle qualified 14th despite transmission issues and limited practice time.

Kyle fought a bad push coming out of the corners during the feature and got caught up in a couple of on track incidents. Ended up finishing 11th.

We have a lot of work to do to prepare for our next race. We will also make the necessary adjustments for our next Delaware Speedway visit later this year.
