Your life is made up of these things. Think about how satisfied you are with finances, your career, your health, how you have fun, the quality of your relationships with family and friends, your personal development, your intimate relationships, and your spirituality.
Not all of these things may be important to you, and that's okay! For the things, you do value, on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being perfectly satisfied), how would you rate your current experiences?
Is your Wheel of Life a bumpy ride? What could you adjust to improve an aspect by one point? What resources do you have to make that change?

I don't blame anyone for choosing comfort. Stepping outside of your comfort zone can be scary and feel too risky.
If you aren't ready, you aren't ready.
I offer these questions to you, and you're free to explore them when you feel it's the right time.
"What are your biggest fears about the things that are out of your comfort zone?"
"How could you reframe those obstacles?"
I'm always available if you're curious about the answers you've found within yourself.

You're still exhausted after getting +7hrs of sleep? Burnout may be creeping into your life.
You're lacking in other methods of rest. Physical rest doesn't account for all the methods of rest for a person to be their best.
Which of these methods resonates with you?

Do you ever find yourself scrolling through social media or watching people's lives on TikTok and then you look at the clock and realize it's time to go back to work. Where did time go?
But what if I told you that you can have a little bit of fun in your workday? It doesn't have to be long—just 60 minutes. Just one hour.
It's all about being intentional with this hour of your day. It's all about giving yourself the gift of self-care, even though you're busy working hard. Here are some ideas for how to make use of that one hour:
* 20 minutes of outdoor time (reading, breathwork, or just taking a break from being inside)
* 20 minutes of movement like yoga, walking exercises or zumba (and don't forget to stretch!)
* 10 minutes for mindful eating (so many people eat distractedly without paying attention to their bodies' needs)
* 10 minutes for journaling (you can say a lot in 10 minutes)
And remember, if this doens't look doable in one straight hour, you can segment it throughout your day! It's your day. It's your life! Self-care can look like whatever you want it to look like, so long as you're feeling refreshed and re-centred by the end of it.

I'm going to be totally honest with you, I think the word "self-care" is a bit of a buzzword these days. I've seen it crop up everywhere: on Instagram, in articles, in my friends' conversations… But I don't think it's been used correctly.
Yes, taking time out of your day to get your nails done or buy something new can be self-care. It's treating yourself well—not just indulging in something frivolous like a manicure or some new shoes. Those needs are valid! Denying yourself things that you want/need can often lead to more harm than good.
And that's where I think people get confused about what self-care actually means: it's putting YOU first. What does that look like? Maybe staying home for the day instead of hitting up happy hour with friends? Setting boundaries? Enjoying alone time? Saying 'no'? Forgiving yourself? Asking for help from others? Asking for what you need?
So this week let's try practicing !
Reach out and book your complimentary Discovery Call with me. I can help you navigate all aspects of putting you first!

Have you ever felt out of balance?
I know I have.
I think it's something we all experience, in one way or another. I know when things are off, but I don't always know how to fix them. That's why I want to talk about what it means to be balanced—and how we can get there.
Balance is not a static state. It's a dynamic process that is constantly changing as you change and the world changes around you. Finding balance isn't about finding a place where there are no responsibilities—it's about finding a place where your responsibilities match your values and needs.
This means that being balanced is more than just having enough time in your day to accomplish everything on your list. It's also about making sure those things align with who you are as a person, where you come from and who raised you, and what matters most to you in life.
So what does this look like in real life? That depends on you. You need to take some time and invest in exploring how your current reality aligns with your value systems. This will determine where most of your mental, physical and emotional energy is being spent, and whether or not that fits with your desired life.
That's big and sometimes messy work. Fortunately you don't have to do it alone. I specialize in women's life coaching, where outcomes are determined by YOU. After all you are the expert in your life. You have agency to make change, and Charlene is merely walking with you when things get hard, messy, painful, and overwhelming.

One of the most common ways we set boundaries is with other people. We say no to people who want to invade our space, or ask us for favors, or just be rude and disrespectful.
But you need to set boundaries with yourself, too. And often, it's hard because you don't see what's happening on the inside as clearly as you do on the outside.
You might feel like you're being pulled in a hundred directions at once—like everyone expects something from you, and you can't let anyone down. But when we let others take up all our space, we get pulled away from ourselves. And that's not good for anyone!
So if setting boundaries with others seems too big of a task right now, start by setting them with yourself instead. Give yourself permission to say no—to your own thoughts and actions that aren't healthy for YOU in the long run.

What makes you, YOU?
Do you ever wonder what makes us all different? What makes each and every one of us so unique and special? I mean, we're just a bunch of people with similar DNA who get to live in the same world, right?
So what exactly is it that gives us our identity? Well… it turns out there are 8 aspects of self that combine to make a holistic you: your thoughts, feelings, mind, body, heart, spirit, values and actions.
Take the time to acknowledge each of these aspects. What are common thoughts you have and do they serve you in adaptively? How do you actions align with your values, spirit, and mind? When to certain feelings arise? Does your body have reactions to certain people, places or things?
Without knowing how all these aspects intermingle with each other, you could feel lost, directionless, dissatisfied, and even unbalanced. But here's the kicker: none of these aspects are fixed; they can change over time! Awareness is the first step to making a change.
Looking to explore these aspects? Book your complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call with Charlene at allsheowns.com to talk about how life coaching can help bring more satisfaction in your life.
