PRO TIP: When deciding what and where to develop, get to know the local community. Understanding what is wanted in the area by locals and working collaboratively with the neighbourhood is a great asset in the development process.
Many of our project’s neighbours have become good friends of ours and we were happy to involve them with the design of our developments.

One of Infill Development’s educators, Charles Wah, Founder of Gateway Group, was featured in Canadian Real Estate Wealth’s summer issue back in 2017. Here are some words from Charles about his journey in the industry thus far:
“Following my dreams of transitioning into entrepreneurship and working towards becoming a developer while learning on-the-fly without any prior experience or relevant education has been the most difficult challenge in my professional life with plenty of ups AND downs.
Similar to many other entrepreneurs, it has also come with a ton of sacrifices especially during the first few years of starting your own business.

Infill Developments is hosting a site tour on Sunday, June 26th at our Huxley project in Hamilton! We are more than a month into construction and couldn’t be happier to discuss our progress thus far, as well as what the future holds.
We have created two time-slots, ▪️9:00am-10:00am and the ▪️11:00am-12:00pm!

Our Violet development in St. Catharines is an example of how we took an existing large lot and transformed it into an intensified 4 unit semi.
In simple terms we:
Acquired a corner larger corner lot
Severed off the parcel of parcel of land to propose a new home
Received approval for 2 semis, each containing a legal secondary suite

Say hello to our third educator & founder of Suite Additions, Andy Tran! After seeing opportunities to improve communities throughout the Golden Horseshoe region, while simultaneously helping people gain financial security through various housing densification strategies, Andy knew his passion lied with infill developments. Andy graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Architectural Science where he mastered the skill of maximizing properties within urban areas. The intensification strategies that Andy provides has helped over 250 clients create additional units in their homes.
Andy’s strategy continues to support the triple bottom line; people, planet, & profit, as secondary suites provide more housing options within urban boundaries, while also generating a source of income for homeowners.
