It’s okay to feel. Emotions—no matter how heavy—don’t define who you are, and they won’t stay forever. Be gentle with yourself, welcome each feeling with compassion, and trust that it will pass.

The weekend is here! And so is your reminder that rest is just as important as progress. You don’t have to push every moment — pause, breathe, and recharge. Whether it’s a slow morning, a long walk, or simply doing nothing at all, give yourself permission to rest. You’re still moving forward. 💛✨ How are you taking care of yourself this weekend?

The holidays are around the corner. As the days get shorter, the dark night sky slowly brightens up with Christmas lights lining the roofs of houses. There’s a different warmth and glow some people seem to have. It’s easy to get distracted by the Christmas cheer, but Christmas isn’t always a joy for everyone and we need to think of those that don’t always have good feelings or memories associated with the holidays. Some people have painful memories or losses that make them feel alone. Let’s try to enjoy our holidays, but also try and be there for those who need some extra love and support during these times.

It's almost the end of the year and time to reflect on how far we have come. What is one thing you have done this month to change yourself for the better? What is one goal you have achieved this year? What's one thing you learned or have come to accept?

We all recharge differently, and when feeling emotionally or mentally drained, it can be important to understand how to recharge to work in your best interest. Some may prefer their alone time, and being in their own company may bring peace and quiet to recharge. Some may find that taking the time to turn off your phone, spend the night at home, and going on do not disturb mode brings them the space they need to recharge. On the other hand, there are others who need people around them in order to recharge. Others need their friends or family to feed off of their energy. There can be group activities that allow you to recharge, like maybe gathering your group of friends to have a night in and watch movies or play games, or go out and grab some food. Maybe think of a new activity you and your friends can try together, and plan a day you can all look forward to. Plan days and activities to connect and catch up with your family too. Maybe recharging doesn’t always have to be done alone, maybe being with others can energize you and bring your battery back up to 100% ❤️

Sometimes all that is needed to recharge is spending time alone. Sometimes all it takes is going on a solo hike, taking a long hot shower, watching some funny videos, organizing a room in the house, or cooking yourself a meal and baking dessert to follow afterwards. Schedule more alone time, and watch how your mood can change
