Through the generous support of AIM Recycling and the Kiwanis Service Club of Hamilton, BGC Hamilton-Halton is proud to offer scholarships to eligible members pursuing post-secondary education.

🎒 Kindergarten: What’s Next? 🎒

Starting kindergarten is a big milestone for children and families alike! Join us at our Ellis EarlyON Centre for a supportive and engaging program focused on helping families prepare for this exciting next step. 🍎✨

Families will explore school readiness, routines, and ways to help children feel confident as they begin their kindergarten journey.

🚲 TODAY from 10am-4pm, King Street East (John St → Gage Ave) will transform into a 3.6 km car-free space for walking, biking, rolling, and community fun.

Along long the route you’ll also find:

🍔 A food court at The Kitchen Collective

Xiu Xiu has been a member of the EarlyON team for many years and has contributed across all EarlyON locations, facilitating a variety of programs and supporting many EarlyON families and children along the way.

Currently, she works at our Ellis EarlyON location, where her passion and dedication shines through in everything she does. Throughout her time at BGC, Xiu Xiu facilitated many programs including Parent Education Lunch and Learn programs, Grab and Go and Kindergarten - What's Next? In every program she brings creativity, commitment and genuine ability to connect with every child.

One of Xiu Xiu's greatest strengths is her ability to build meaningful relationships - her kindness, warmth and creativity can be seen in every interaction she has with children, families and staff. She is a wonderful part of the EarlyON team, always willing to help and support her colleagues in any way possible.

We are so grateful for Xiu Xiu's contributions to the EarlyON team and look forward to seeing her continue to share her wonderful talents with everyone around her. Thank you, Xiu Xiu, for everything that you do! 💚

Isaiah has been a shining light at BGC for many years. Starting as a member, then becoming a dedicated volunteer and now an outstanding staff member, Isaiah’s journey is a true reflection of growth, leadership, and commitment to our community. Members can often find Isaiah in the gym playing basketball, encouraging participation, and inspiring young people to stay physically active and engaged. His positive attitude, welcoming smile, and genuine connection with members make him a familiar and trusted presence throughout the Club.
