We have a few very nice BMX style bikes in the shop. There is another one about the same size that is cheaper, but it doesn't have the same parts as this one. This one has pegs, a custom painted crank, a painted frame, a gyro and new cables. You can see the price in some of the pictures below. The other bmx that is about the same size I believe is about 100 dollars. The shop is still being run totally by volunteers. This allows the shop to keep the prices low. We are also here for tune ups or part replacements, anything you need bike related really. There are a lot of mountain bike and city bikes in great shape in the shop for sale also. We sell a lot of different bikes. Stop in during shop hours to see our full stock!

As beautiful as this is, Don't put these kits on your Bike in Ontario. This would make it an Illegal bike to ride. I know this doesn't really make a ton of sense but because it's powered by gas, it's not an like an Ebike that is powered by a battery and motor. Anyway, Just a warning as you can buy these kits online and in stores in Hamilton. Unless your building it just to build it and not ride it, that would be fine. Riding it on the road will get you a day in court if your seen by the police. Trust me they will hear the engine on this. So just be careful. Just because you can buy it, doesn't mean it legal to use!

Hey all, Just thought I would let you know we are all getting our bikes ready for the winter. If you need something like a tune up now is the perfect time if your going to be using your bike in the winter. You want to make sure your brakes, tires and bike winter ready. A lot of people also change there tires for the winter. Just like a car, they make winter tire for bikes. These tire have a lot more grip and a larger tire tread pattern which can make all the difference in the snow. Maybe we will add a video in the future showing you climbing a hill with the right tires on in the winter and climbing a hill with the wrong tires on. This would also been done on the road, not some trail. Some people go as far as putting studs in there tires or buying winter tires that come with them. Stop in the shop and we will do are best to get you sorted as quickly as we can and for a reasonable price.

Hello everyone and thanks for reading this. I am currently looking for a used but some what of a beginner kayak. I don't have a ton of money but if someone has one there not using and wouldn't mind selling, please contact me. You can get in touch with me through this webpage of by sending me a message directly. I know you think it's not bike related but that would not be true. I am allso getting a trailer for the kayak that attaches to my bicycles seat post. So riding it down to the harbor shouldn't be to much of an issue.

(If you click on interested on the event below I think it gives you the same info I am about to post.)

Great news all!
We are re-opening July the 4th from 9am until 12 noon!

Our first day back in the shop will be Saturday the 4th of July.
Don't forget we are around the corner from the front of the Church on Morden Street even though it says peal st for the address. There is also be a sign outside on the grass in front of the door to get into the shop. Also please remember to ring the doorbell on the right side of the door to have someone come up and let you in. It is kept locked at all times.
Now, the Church itself is not reopening. Just the people like our shop who rent space from the church and have a minimal staff are re opening. If you have any questions about the church or anything they do there other then the bike shop, Please contact them directly as we will have no other information that we can provide to you.
When we re-open we (All the staff and mechanics in the shop) will all be wearing masks, gloves and practice social distancing. We are going to try to do our very best to be as safe as possible. nobody wants to get sick so we will be doing what we can to keep everyone as safe as we can well also limiting the amount of people inside the shop. There is nothing to say we couldn't bring a bike outside though for your family to look at it or find someway to make it work if need be. We are looking forward to reopening and we hope to see you in the shop again soon!

Please, if you know anyone in need or a used bike, a tune up, a part or anything bicycle related if you could send them our way and let them know about our shop and our page, that could really benefit us greatly. We have been closed since April I believe so we have some catching up to do. But we still have plenty of bikes for sale and ready to go. Boys, girls, men and women of all ages, we have a bike for you. Or you may find one you like that has not yet been put up for sale and we can get that ready for you. Just stop into the shop. We have just about any part you could imagine and if we don't have it we can likely get it ordered in for you. One last thing to note is that this is a community bike shop that sells bikes cheaper then most of the other shops. All of our bike are donations but I have seen Bran new bike being donated. So stop in when you can and see what we have. We may just have that bike or part you have been looking for and we are extremely reasonable when it comes to pricing.
It will be great to see everyone again and we hope to see you on the 4th of July!
In case you forgot or were wondering, our hours are limited. We are open on every Saturday from 9am until 12 noon and Tuesday evening from 6pm until 9pm. (not including holidays) We hope to see you all in the shop again soon!

Still closed. We can only suggest using other shops right now. We are closed until they allow churches to reopen. Who knows how long that could be. Anyway, everyone try and stay positive, stay healthy and stay safe. It's a great time to get out and ride your bike though! I will also post pics of your bikes if you want. Your address would not be listed or anything by us and if you like we can call it a customers bike. Its up to you! if you want to show your creation the more different it is from a normal bike that would be great. O I would like to add that there is a disabled person who is looking for a bike that is operated by hand. This means the crank would be him turning it with his hands. There are some people with them out there and if you have one you really don't need or don't use it he would be willing to discuss buying one from your for a very decent price on a used one in great shape. He was saying about 800 Cash in hand if everything is working right and he likes it. He maybe also willing to haggle a little on the price. If you have one you don't need it, this extra cash may really help you and you helping a disabled person get back on a bike. And he would absolutely use it all the time. His last one was stolen.

Hello and Sorry to all but the bike shop is closed until further notice. I wish I could give you guys some kind of a time when it will be back open but I have no idea. As we are a bike shop we "Should be open" but we can't. The reason is our location. Because we are in the basement of a church and rent from the church it is A. Up to them when they decide to re open after this is over. Churches are also supposed to remain closed by law right now to limit the number of people gathering.
I will let you know though that we will without a doubt be re opening when this is over. We just have to wait it out like everyone else. So maybe if you want, Send me a picture of your bikes! I will post them on our webpage. Let us know what you ride. Mountain? City? Rental bikes? XC, Downhill, bmx, Ebike and the hybrid city/mountain bike. Let us know what you love and hate about your bike!

So I double checked with the Church being shut down where our bike shop is and we will NOT be open April 4th. They are keeping the church closed until after Saturday the 4th. This means we will be open again on APRIL 7th! I think we all can't wait for this virus to be over.
Sorry for any confusion I may have caused and we will see you when the shop is open again on Tuesday the 7th of April.
Thanks all and I hope we see you all on Tuesday the 7th!

03/15/2020

Sorry to say that Recycle Cycles is now Closed until April 4th. Due to this virus the Church we are in decided to cancel all programs and close the offices there. We will be open again on the 4th of April and we are sorry for any problems this may cause you. We hope to see you all again in April and we may post some dates where we do a few spring rides if weather permits. That is if we have some people interested while the shop is closed.
