Portrait Play was my favourite resource for finding new music shared by friends. I stopped maintaining the site, and I think that played a big role in the site sort of dropping off the map (people stopped using it).

I hadn't even accessed the site in probably 12 months, but I recently remembered it and since then I've been rediscovering some serious gems that were once posted. So I'm inviting you to revisit portrait play and take a look. (I've updated it and restored all the functionality to its former glory), and if you're so inclined, I hope you'll post a song and maybe share the site with a friend.

What I still feel is most valuable about this site is that it's friends of friends posting content from a practically endless library of music, new and old—just like what's done at some of the best house parties I've been to :)

Bottom line is the site is live and working. There's a couple years worth of great music and content already shared, and the site is open to anyone to login and share something worth listening to
