Bear cubs learn while they play! Children under 7, learn foundations of karate, develop physically literacy, focus and attention skills. No karate gi is required. They will have a belt to show their progress. Start any time on a monthly basis.

Japan’s rich cultural heritage is home to many life philosophies that foster balance, well-being. One of these is called Bun bu Ryo do - or Cultural ways with Warrior ways. It is the concept of balancing hard with soft, physical excerise with mind exercise.

They are time-tested concepts that have influenced people worldwide, helping them live with purpose and intention.

Adulting is tough, but don’t sacrifice the things that lead to wellness and happiness.

October begins with a new program - Karate Club. For youth 8-14 yrs. Pick your weekday(s), time and whether you want to wear a gi or not. Go to our website in the bio to connect and get details.

The poem from which Chojun Miyagi named GoJu karate speaks to the importance of balance. This practise in karate extends into life. Finding balance plays a role in finding happiness, to be strong, to be healthy both emotionally and physically.

Families are welcome at ACT! A couple of mom’s and grandma, decided to join us - it’s great exercise, interesting and fun! Does not matter what age you are, karate training is adaptable to different ages and abilities. AND now that we have a new and bigger space, we have revamped our schedule to accommodate yours!
