Bullying is never ok. Often I am consulted and retained by parents of children who have been bullied. The institutions that are supposed to protect them, fail them often. Sadly this is increasing every day - no child should face a bully where they are meant to be protected.

And just like that winter is back…a good time for me to remind you that if you slip and fall on municipal property you must put the municipality/city/county on notice within 10 days if you are injured and are considering a law suit! 🤕

If injured on private property you must notify the owner/occupier/snow removal contractor within 60 days! ❄️

No one sets out to be injured but if you are, you should consult a lawyer who can help protect these important deadlines even if you end up not commencing a claim at a later date. Contact me to learn more 📚

These women ⬇️ are fantastic!!

This morning our parent council made and served pancakes, bacon, apples and syrup at our kids’ school. Every child was offered unlimited pancakes funded by our parent council as well as a Valentine’s Day celebration. It is a joy to be part of this team 💕🥞

This year was anything but boring. Despite breaking my leg (shattered it more like) and having emergency surgery in February, I can say this year was a great chapter in the book of life!

2024 I’m coming for you! And watch this space for a HUGE announcement coming in January….😉

So proud of these girls - having considered that they had quite a bit of Halloween candy and others would enjoy a treat too, they made 36 individual treat bags with their candy and chips and donated them to the Ladybug Creations by BL’s little free pantries here in town.

When your kids say “mom we are have to go to the store tonight. We are collecting for We Scare Hunger at school in support of Friendship House of Brant Inc.”, you head to Food Basics to stock up on non perishable food to donate 💕26 cans of food and 4 packs of pasta going to school tomorrow!

I love their dedication to giving back to our community and in helping others.
