This result was achieved gradually over 2 sessions, with 0.5 mL of lip filler each time for a total of 1 mL.

The treatments were spaced about 6 months apart, allowing us to build her lips slowly over the course of a year. Patience can be key to achieving the lip results you desire!

Lower face:

💉 DAO

The DAO (depressor anguli oris) muscles pull the corners of the mouth downward. When they’re particularly active, they can contribute to a naturally downturned or “sad” appearance at rest.

The result is usually very subtle. You’re relaxing a downward pull rather than physically lifting the mouth.

💉 Chin

Chin Botox is primarily used to relax the mentalis muscle.

When the mentalis is overactive, it can create:
A dimpled or “pebbly” chin

Relaxing it can give the chin a smoother, softer appearance and make the lower face look more relaxed.

Why combine them?

DAO + chin Botox can be great for someone who wants subtle lower-face refinement without filler.

Together, they can make the lower third of the face look more relaxed, balanced and youthful while still maintaining natural movement.

Upper face:

11s tox doesn’t change your face, it relaxes the muscles that pull your brows together, softening the frown lines and giving you a more relaxed, refreshed expression.

And importantly, the deeper the lines are at rest, the more likely they may need multiple treatments to soften substantially, tox prevents/relaxes the movement, but it doesn’t instantly erase etched-in lines.

The forehead is one area where more isn’t necessarily better. The frontalis helps hold the brows up, so over-treating it can cause heavy brows, a lowered brow position, or a frozen look.

That’s why forehead tox is customized based on someone’s brow position, muscle strength, anatomy, and how much movement they want.

Most of the time, the plan is less filler. Sometimes it’s no filler at all. And ALOT of the time the best results come from building gradually over multiple appointments.
