Digby Municipality homeowners — something worth knowing before June 15th.

The District of Digby's Clean Energy Financing program is closing this fall. It lets you finance up to $25,000 in home energy upgrades, including solar, at 2% interest, paid back through your property taxes. No bank required.

We're actually installing a system in Digby right now through this program and we want to make sure people know the window is closing before it does.

To make it easy to see if solar makes sense for your home, we built a free calculator on our website. Enter your typical monthly NS Power bill and get and estimate on what a system would cost, what the monthly financing payment looks like, and how the numbers compare to staying with NSP.

For homes in the Digby area, a 20-panel system works out to about $2,000 down and $161 per month through this program and would save you upwards of $50,000 over the next 25 years.
