After an exciting week in Dartmouth working on Zeno Box, we would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to for including us in Micro Digitals: CONNECTIONS. We would also like to thank our newest collaborators, (actor) and (technician), as well as the playwrights that generously allowed us to use excerpts from their plays: , Karen Bassett, Ryan Griffith, Edie Chunn and Julia Schultz.

The Zeno Box is closed up tight for now, but we hope to open it up again sometime in the future…

Our next project, Zeno Box, is part of ’s Macro Digitals: CONNECTIONS; a series of interactive theatrical installations to be experienced in-person at Alderney Landing or online. Inspired by the on-again, off-again nature of theatre during the pandemic, Zeno Box investigates the value of creating a performance that never reaches its audience.

Project Announcement 3/3: Zeno Box

We are very excited to have a performance piece featured at Macro Digital Series: CONNECTIONS. Zeno Box is a performance art installation dramatizing the dilemma of creating theatre during uncertain times. A single actor will perform continuously inside of an enclosed box which will only reveal them at random intervals. Zeno Box will feature text from multiple performance pieces that have been canceled due to the pandemic.

Project Annoucement 2/3:
ReCap

The recent migration to online theatre has allowed creators to incorporate accessibility features seamlessly into their performances thanks to built-in captioning software. But what happens to those features when we return to in-person performances? ReCap is a preliminary exploration into live dynamic captions for the stage and their ability to heighten performances for Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing audiences alike. ReCap is funded by through their Creation Grant (Category B). ReCap will be performed May 21st 2022 at Memorial Hall

Project Announcement 1/3: SPECTRE

Our first show, Space Girl, was an experiment into real-time digital performance that allowed for audience interaction. Spectre dives deeper into the concept of audience agency by putting you in control of the characters. Inspired by horror video games, this digital experience is our most ambitious project to date!

Spectre’s first wave of creation will be hosted by as part of their interMISSION residencies in August 2022. Spectre will be creatively led by and will feature music by .cliche.
