Do you glue header ply’s together?

I don’t do it for every one but if I have the PL near by or it’s a bigger header I try to! I just feel better about it being built this way even though I’m sure it’s over kill.

Late to the snow tire party, but heard snow may be coming as soon as tomorrow! So I had to break out the flood light and get them done tonight! Do you have yours on? Or do you even use them?

The go to trio for framing!

The cordless nailer is perfect for those small jobs where a compressor just seems like too much work to get out. The router was a game changer when it came to cutting out window openings and I think the rear handle speaks for itself.

Happy Monday! If your truck doesn’t look like this by Monday afternoon do you even work in the trades? 😂 But for real I always start the week off with a clean truck and somehow it always looks like this by Monday afternoon!

Knowledge is power and it’s never to late to learn something! In this trade it feels like the learning never stops! These are a few books I try to keep in the truck incase I need them, it’s always nice to have all this info close by! Especially the Carpentry book I got in school, it’s seems to be able to answer all the questions I have 💪

Been loving the fall weather these last few weeks and hoping it’s not coming to an end soon!
Best part about fall is all the wardrobe changes that take place throughout the day am i right? 😂 and on a side note you’ll never catch me without my .toolbelts and my any time of the year! It’s for sure time to upgrade to some aware headphones though!

This is a bit of a throw back from 2 years ago before I pulled the trigger on the cordless nailer! Is it the go to all the time? No, but it defiantly has its time and place and comes in handy more then I thought it would!

What do you think of this newly renovated master bathroom?

The layout and functionality of this bathroom completely changed for the better! This is one of those Reno’s I really regret not taking before photos of… it had an awkward corner vanity, a small corner shower and an old corner whirlpool bath tub, this new layout feels way less crammed and much fresher.

This was one of my favourite parts of the custom home we at just finished up! Thanks to for making this dream the homeowners had become reality! Was happy to play a role in this part of the build by adding this beautiful wood mantle!

This exterior reno is coming along nicely! Swipe for before and after! New front porch roof added and all new siding and window capping going on! Excited for this one to be wrapped up next week!
