I’m going to be honest for a moment.
Content creation drains my soul.
Even thinking about it zaps my energy.
I want to share things that make my heart soar.
Things that feel true.
Things that might brighten someone’s day, spark hope, or make them feel seen.
I’m not in this work to chase likes, shares, or comments.
I’m here to create art that speaks for itself.
Art that shows my soul.
Art that encourages others.
Art that can genuinely improve someone’s life, and in doing so, encourages me to create more.
Because of that, I won’t always be posting regularly.
Social media has started to feel like a game I don’t want to play anymore, and honestly, it often creates more negativity than magic. I’m tired of feeding that machine.
So please accept my apology for my lack of posting.
It isn’t disinterest.
It’s intentional.
Word of mouth still means the world to me, and I am deeply grateful to every single person who recommends me, shares my work, or speaks my name when I’m not shouting it online.
I’ll post when I can, and when it feels right.
Until then, you can always reach me through my website, www.kateconnors.ca or by email at [email protected].
Let’s create more magic - without burning ourselves out trying to perform it.
Much love,
Kate

Last tattoo of 2025 was an entertaining, very original piece.
The Pumpkin King, aka Jack Skellington, surfing.
Had great fun creating this one!

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been looking back at the work that carried me through 2025. These are some of the fun pieces I got to work on this year, and as fun as they were, they also hold the weight of a year that asked a lot of me.
2025 was a year of challenges, long days, hard lessons, and steady effort. A year of learning where I needed to learn, adjusting where things didn’t work, and continuing forward even when the path wasn’t clear. It was a year of showing up, refining my work, and striving to do better- for my clients, my craft, and myself.
One of the most meaningful parts of this year was my work with the Alliance of Professional Tattooists. I was elected to the Board of Directors, moved from Secretary to Chairman of Education, and later named Educational Director. This work matters deeply to me. Supporting education, safety, and thoughtful growth within our industry is something I’m proud to be part of, and I look forward to continuing to help the tattoo craft become stronger and better.
As I move into the new year, there’s a sense of clarity I didn’t have before. New projects are already taking shape, along with expanded education, deeper collaboration, and more fundraising efforts that matter to me. There’s more to build, more to give, and more ways to support the people and causes I care about.
Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their skin, their stories, and their time this year. I’m grateful for every conversation, every piece, and every step forward.
Here’s to what’s ahead.
Keep watching.
Happy New Year!

Thank you to everyone who supported the Tattooed Truths Series this year.
Together, we raised $750 for Odyssey House in Grande Prairie.
Odyssey House provides emergency shelter, crisis support, and advocacy for women and children experiencing family violence in our community. Your support helps create safety, stability, and access to care where it’s needed most.
You can book online anytime for quote tattoos that resonate with you, or watch for future walk-in days dedicated to this fundraiser. If this isn't your thing, you can also help by sharing these posts, and by being a support for those in need. Spreading awareness will only help!
Let’s raise even more next year.
If you or someone you know needs support:

Thank you to everyone who voted for me!
There were a lot on the list, and even though I didn't place at the very top, I did place in the top choice! And for that, I appreciate every single one of you!
I'm still not that well known in the area yet, but this helps me immensely.
Let's try again next year!
Congrats to everyone who did win and all those who were nominated!
