Spoiler: it’s a replica of the Frösö Runestone from Sweden — and it’s over 1,000 years old!
Back then, runestones were basically Viking brag boards. This one tells the story of a guy named Östman (son of Gudfast) who built a bridge and brought Christianity to his region. Legendary.

How to read a runestone like a Viking:
1. Find the snake — the text is carved along its body.
2. Start at the snake’s head (because of course)
3. Follow the twists and turns like ancient cursive.

You can find this replica at Viking Park in Gimli — a little tribute to the town’s Icelandic roots. Definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring the area!
