Still trying to find the words for yesterday’s experience at Machu Picchu. 🇵🇪✨

After spending the night in Aguas Calientes, we were up for an early morning PeruRail journey through the breathtaking Andes mountains. Watching the mist roll through the valleys as we made our way toward one of the world’s most iconic wonders was unforgettable.

And then… Machu Picchu.

Seeing it in person was absolutely incredible. The history, the views, the energy of the ancient Incan city high in the mountains. Every corner looked like a postcard. It’s one of those places that truly makes you stop and appreciate how amazing our world is.

Peru continues to surprise me at every turn, and this was definitely a bucket list moment I’ll never forget. ❤️⛰️

Arrived in beautiful Lima, Peru late last night but still managed an early start this morning ☀️🇵🇪

Started the day with breakfast at the charming Hotel Antigua Miraflores before heading out to explore the coastline. We walked through Parque Antonio Raimondi, visited the lighthouse, and stopped at the famous Parque del Amor with its incredible ocean views 🌊

This afternoon we dove into the history of Lima with a city tour that included the stunning Basílica y Convento de San Francisco and the fascinating catacombs and tombs beneath the church. We also learned about traditional alpaca wool and finished the tour with a classic Peruvian pisco sour tasting 🍸

Tonight we meet the rest of our group for dinner and introductions before continuing our Peruvian adventure tomorrow. Stay tuned for what’s ahead! ✈️✨
