🎶 Meet the Teachers 🎶
Gayle Ackroyd is a professional musician/songwriter and has been teaching for 16 years. She has her level two in Artist Educator Professional Training, completed the Learning Through the Arts program with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and graduated the Musical Theatre program at Sheridan College. "I strive for concise practice habits from my students so that they have the confidence to perform at the recital!"

Gayle has written five albums worth of original music and has taught songwriting workshops and hosted a cable television show featuring songwriters.

Gayle is available for private guitar and ukulele lessons 🎸

🎶 Meet the Teachers 🎶
Madison Galloway has long been part of our Performance Studios family. Madison started taking lessons with our director, Karen Aitken, when she was only 6 years old. She studied piano for 11 years, graduating through the MYC program and completing her Level 8 RCM exam. She also began learning guitar which became her passion. Since, she has been pursuing music professionally for the past 10 years as a blues-rock artist writing, performing, and recording her own music!
We are happy to welcome her back as a teacher again this year!

Madison is available for private piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons, as well as an MYC group class (ages 5-7, Monday at 5:30pm) and her Performance & Artist Development class where she teaches songwriting, performance, recording and more!
