Yesterday while many rejoices about the announcement to open churches after Covid-19 lockdown we woke up to a terrible news that shattered our hearts. We were told our place of worship in South Africa, Johannesburg has burned down to ashes and all the our equipment that was in the place is gone. The fire did great damage as you can see in the picture and video below. I personally broke down in tears when I heard this devastating news and can only imagine how our Church family over there is feeling. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and one person who was trapped in the building manage to escape through a window with severe injuries and was admitted in hospital (ICU) but pass away this morning. May his soul rest in peace and may the Lord comfort the bereaved family during this difficult time. Please keep us in your prayers.
